Green Initiatives

At JVJ Solutions, we believe we have a responsibility to protect the environment in which we live and work. We are dedicated to reducing our impact on the environment by pursuing green initiatives whenever possible. We partner with companies that share our same green vision, working together to produce quality work with a conscience.

We have implemented long term and eco-friendly initiatives and practices throughout our company and in our daily operations. Environmentally friendly actions do not have to be large to make a big impact. Reducing the amount of energy, water, and paper that our business uses in our daily operations makes a difference to our environment. These actions may seem small, but in the end they produce big results.

The green initiatives that we practice throughout our company include the following:

Paper Recycling Program –One ton of recycled paper uses 64% less energy, 50% less water, 74% less air pollution, and saves 17 trees. Think about that the next time you throw away your paper products instead of recycling!

Community – Our employees work with local United Way organizations and plant trees in our communities. One acre of trees can remove up to 2.6 TONS of Carbon Dioxide each year.

Energy – Electricity is one of the most significant contributors to carbon emissions. To address the issue, JVJ has partnered with New England Wind, which is 100% Massachusetts Wind Power, to provide green power that is available to all of our customers. This renewable resource is being used to power our entire warehouse.

Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) – We partner with companies that have obtained certification from the FSC. The FSC is recognized as the most rigorous and complete forest protection certification process in the world. It guarantees that the paper for all of our projects, has been made using wood from a healthy, well-managed forest.
